In Person Early Voting
Requesting a Mail-In Absentee Ballot- New Request Deadline
Registered voters may submit by mail, fax or e-mail a request for an absentee ballot to be mailed to them. Application for Absent Elector Ballot must be personally signed by the registered voter requesting the ballot. Application forms can be picked up at the County Clerk’s office at County West or downloaded from the Twin Falls County web site www.twinfallscounty.org. Election laws do not provide for a ballot to be picked up by a family member or friend. The last day for an application for a mail-in absentee ballot to be received by the County Clerk is 11 days before any election at 5:00 p.m.

*Early voting begins two to three weeks before any election. The last day for early voting is always the Friday before the election. The early voting center is located at Twin Falls County West, 630 Addison Ave. W, on the first floor.
*The last day for the Clerk’s office to receive written requests for absentee ballots is 11 days before the election. The deadline to return ballots to the Clerk’s office is always 8:00 p.m. on election night.
*The cutoff for pre-registering to vote is 24 days before an election. Election Day registration is available during early voting. You must have photo ID and proof of residence. If your current address is shown on your driver’s license, that is all you need. If your current address is not shown on your driver’s license, you need to bring something with you that shows your current address (power bill, car registration, insurance, pay check, bank statement, etc.).
