Building Permit Applications

All Building Permit Applications MUST be completed in its entirety.

Any missing information will only delay your application from being processed and your permit
from being issued.  It is your responsibility to complete the building permit application in its entirety.

A non-refundable deposit fee shall be paid upon submitting the application.

Residential (applied toward the building permit fee when the permit is purchased)

• $250 for single family dwellings
• $100 for accessory buildings, additions, and interior alterations

Commercial (Plan Review Fee)

• 65% of the estimated permit fee (call for exact cost)

A possible refundable inspection deposit of twenty-five (25%) percent of the permit fee or $100, whichever is greater, will be collected along with the permit fee at the time the permit it purchased.

Inspection deposit will not be refunded if:

• Inspections are not requested
• Permit is cancelled for any reason
• You move into the building prior to the final inspection ( includes boxes of any sort, furniture, etc.)
