NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the Twin Falls County Planning and Zoning Commission upon the following request:

 

A Special Use Permit for an animal feeding operation expansion by David Funk on property consisting of approximately six hundred thirty eight point five four (638.54) + acres located in Section 22 and 23, Township 11 South, Range 19 East B. M. Also known as being addressed approximately 4245 East 3200 North, Murtaugh, Idaho in the Agricultural. The intended use is to expand from five thousand seven hundred sixty (5,760) animal units to seven thousand nine hundred ninety eight (7,998) animal units.

 

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held before the Twin Falls County Planning and Zoning Commission at the hour of 2:00 pm on the 28th day of August at the Marvin Hempleman Twin Falls County Office Building Meeting Room, 246 Third Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho upon said requests. Testimony will be limited to three (3) minutes for individuals and up to fifteen (15) minutes for group representatives; group representative spokespersons will be allowed only after approval by the Chairman of the Commission issued at least three days before the oral hearing. Requests to appear as a spokesperson should be filed in writing with the Planning and Zoning office no later than the close of business, August 21, 2008.

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a work session will be held on August 26, 2008 at the hour of 12:00 Noon at the Marvin Hempleman Twin Falls County Office Building Meeting Room, 246 Third Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho. The Planning and Zoning Commission will review the application that is to be heard at the August 28, 2008 Public Hearing. No testimony will be received at the work session.

 

A complete description of the request is on file with the Office of the Planning and Zoning Administrator and available upon request. Any and all persons may register their comments, protests or agreements on the subject being considered. Written materials or comments must be submitted for receipt no later than the close of business, August 21, 2008, at the Office of the Planning and Zoning Administrator at 246 Third Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho. No written materials will be accepted by advocates pro or con after that date and time.
