Detached buildings
Twin Falls County Code Title 8 Zoning Ordinance 8-12-1B establishes size limitations for the construction of a detached building, i.e. accessory building, shop, barn, and garage.
Rural Residential Zone
Agricultural Zone
- If parcel is 40 acres or more, 3,200 sq ft maximum
- If parcel is less than 40 acres, 2,400 sq ft maximum
Ag-Preservation Zone
- If parcel is 160 acres or more, 5,000 sq ft maximum
- If parcel is less than 160 acres, 3,200 sq ft maximum
*if you wish to construct a building over the allowed square footage, a Conditional Use Application must be submitted and the application requires a Public Hearing for approval and prior to issuance of a building permit. |
