Jurors for Twin Falls County serve for a one-month term unless extended due to a case that they are involved in. Most jurors, on average, are directed to appear between one and three times during the month of service.

Jurors are instructed to call the message phone (code-a-phone) at 736-0047 beginning the weekend before the term of service and each weekend for the whole month of service. If directed to appear as a juror, always call the night before the scheduled date to appear after 5:00 p.m. to check for any changes.

Jurors receive their instruction through the jury message phone (code-a-phone) system or through the link below.

How a jury is chosen: Your name is drawn at random from a list of registered voters and licensed drivers. A juror summons qualification form is sent to you, which you return to the court, with questions asked to determine if you are legally qualified to serve on a jury. Your answers to the questions help the judge and attorneys determine your fairness and ability to sit as a juror on any particular case.

If directed to appear, please be on time. Allow a few extra minutes for parking and the security scanning device. You will check in at the security counter and we will direct you to your courtroom.

If you have questions or problem regarding your jury service, please call the Jury Commissioner at 736-0048 Thank You.
