Shoshone Basin Cooperative Weed Management Area (SBCWMA)
The SBCWMA began in February 2000. The purpose of this group is to eradicate, contain, control, and prevent non-native invasive plants and noxious weeds on public and private lands east of the Salmon Falls Watershed in Twin Falls County. Accomplishments are great when resources and expertise are combined. The group generally meets three to four times a year. Oregon Trail Cooperative Weed Management Area (OTCWMA)
The OTCWMA began in April 2001. The purpose of this group is to eradicate, contain, control, and prevent non-native invasive plants, primarily noxious weeds on public and private lands west of the Salmon Falls watershed in Twin Falls County. The boundary also includes a five-mile buffer zone into Elmore and Owhyee Counties. The group generally meets three times a year.
